    I have a Samsung dvd/vcr combo player mod V6700, ive tried the crack codes that were listed back in '07 to make it Multi region instead of just region 4 but on mine they didnt work... when i pushed Subtitle "no disc" came up, i got to the #8 on the code and the Red circle with the line threw it came, the #4 never came up on screen.....If anyone has new info on the codes i would be very appreciative..

    not many (if any) combos can be made region free by a remote code, its needs special equipment, buy a cheapy region free dvd player and save yourself the hastle.
    PAL/NTSC problem solver.

    I don't know about your samsung combo but for my dvd player (Scott...cheap dvd player) the technique was:
    1) open the dvd compartment
    2) press two times 9 on the remote and then pick zone1 instead of 2 so i can play us market releases :/
    Maybe yours work similarly who knows
