I have been transferring a lot of AVI files from one computer to another. I have been have no problems until today when I tried transferring some AVI files into a folder on my PC from my Mac (which is how I've been doing it all week with no problems) today I did it and it says it can't copy it to the PC folder because the "parameter is incorrect".
I've never seen this error message before and have no idea how to work around it or fix it or something.
Any help would be great!

Transferring how? Network shares? USB drive? FTP? Maybe the file has an invalid character for the PC file name? PC filenames can't include: / \ * : " ? < > |

I'm transferring them from a USB flash drive. I checked the file names and I don't see any invalid characters in them. It transferred 3 of the AVI files but none of the other ones work.

Never mind. I don't know what the problem was, but I deleted the files off my flash drive and put them back on there directly from my Mac and it works fine now. Thanks though.
