  1. I've been running Edius Neo Booster on my laptop while on vacation. Now that I'm home it's time to move it to my editing machine.

Woe is me. I have junked up my codec stack, apparently. Gspot is showing me a codec named ".", I have a half dozen or so missing files.

When I try to use the Canopus AVCHD previewer or converter I get "Cannot preview. (Filter load error)."
When I fire up Neo I get no video. Audio is present, but video is a blank window.

So, advice short of reloading the machine? Not a horrible option, but I'm a lazy bugger.

  2. OK, apparently not related to my codec stack. I had turned off video acceleration because it was glitching my audio recording app. I adjusted it to midway and Edius Neo is working now, although not as well as it did on my laptop.
