Edius vs my codec mess

I've been running Edius Neo Booster on my laptop while on vacation. Now that I'm home it's time to move it to my editing machine.

Woe is me. I have junked up my codec stack, apparently. Gspot is showing me a codec named ".", I have a half dozen or so missing files.

When I try to use the Canopus AVCHD previewer or converter I get "Cannot preview. (Filter load error)."
When I fire up Neo I get no video. Audio is present, but video is a blank window.

So, advice short of reloading the machine? Not a horrible option, but I'm a lazy bugger.

OK, apparently not related to my codec stack. I had turned off video acceleration because it was glitching my audio recording app. I adjusted it to midway and Edius Neo is working now, although not as well as it did on my laptop.
