I see that the WDTV live doesn't support WMAPRO digital sound files. Is there a program that can change my .wmv files which has WMAPRO sound to a AC3 digital audio file?

Use wmv converter and make a mkv with 5.1 ac3, no video reconverting.

edit: It only supports VC1 video though.

Didn't work for me. Maybe it does not support W7. Could not load anything and do anything with it. Is there any other apps to try? What is CV1 video? The one I am trying to change is a HD video.

VC1 is a video codec that can be stored in a WMV.

I don't know any other method as I don't touch wmv video. .

I see it says I have to be logged in as administrator with W7 for this software to work wmv converter. Anyone know how to log in as admin with W7? Maybe that is why I can't get it to work. Wonder why you have to be on admin when downloading it.

Make sure to select auto remux in the top menus to avoid shopping and stoppage after 5 seconds of playing. Had the problem and now works flawless.
