Can anyone help me with setting up an external screen? I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1545 to play music live (i'm using MAX/MSP/Jitter) and i've just started to include visuals in my set, which i'm controlling inside Max.
I've worked out how to set up an external screen on which i play back my visuals (i'm using the VGA out on my laptop), but there seems to be a slight time lag, which isn't ideal cause the visuals need to be in time with the music.
I'm sure this is because i've got a pretty cheap and crappy graphics card in my laptop. Can anyone recommend a decent external or internal laptop graphics card/processor that will give me very low latency?
Thanks

You would need software that delays audio to match video delay.
I don't know of any in your application area.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
