Ahhha! I finally got MM version 8.2 working on my new Windows 7 HP computer and all is good except when i try to burn. MM for some reason is not seeing my recorder. Anyone know how i can get mm to see the recorder?

Please specify which recorder. Internal DVD-drive? Does any other program sees it?

it's a dvd drive; new HP computer. Works fine with other programs.

Internet Explorer is known to interfere with MM,it usually makes installation impossible. You say you finally got MM installed,did you have problems installing it?

not reeally....i just ignored warnings and ran as admnistrator.

Try un-installing IE8. Even if your not using IE8,it will interfere with MM.

still won't "see" my recorder...other features work ok
