batch conversion of mp3 files

I'm looking for a program that can down sample a couple hundred of song's bit-rate. I have a big library of 320kbps music and I want to convert it to 160-192k for listening on the go. I tried a couple of programs but they were either very uncomfortable (super), had limited batch actions (mediacoder) or lost the ID3 tags (dbpoweramp). it's very important to keep the id3 tags it's also useful if the conversion software will show how much space total the files will be but it isn't a necessity.

WinAmp and 'the GodFather' are two that come to mind.

Lamexp, not sure about the tag retention but theres a tag option for sure, wether to keep or erase im not sure, try it out.
