I've got a Video / DVD Recorder (combi unit). (Toshiba D-VR17) However it will not allow me to access the 'Setup' menu for some reason!
Two years old... when the setup button is pressed, it simply changes the display from actual time to the time left on the DVD. I've tried different discs but nothing changes. Of course, being unable to access the setup menu means I cannot finalise discs.... so I can't then take the programs to my PC to edit. (Aaaaagh!)
It records and plays back fine from both video and DVD.
Any ideas? I'm loathe to go out and spend another £200+ to replace it and then find I've missed something obvious! Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received...
Thanks
Colin
