  1. Hi ,

    I am new here.

Right now, I have these 5 files with me:
    1. Video "A"with no vocal at all.
    2. Audio with vocal and music (lets called it Audio1)
    3. Audio with music but no vocal( lets called it Audio2)
    4. Video "A"with Audio1
    5. Video "A"with Audio2

I need to make Video "A" with both Audio1 and Audio2 so that when I play this Video"A" in the DVD/VCD player, I can switch whether I want the Audio1 or Audio2.
Basically, I want to make a Karaoke-able video.
But I do not know how to do it.

Does anybody know the solution for this?

NB: Please say if my information is vague or is not clear.

    Thanks

What format are the video and the audio files in? (The codecs they use?) You can check with MediaInfo. Some formats of AVI type video may have different rules than MPEG video for audio. But it should be simple enough to have two audio tracks as long as your playback device can choose the one you want.

    And welcome to our forums.

  3. well. the videos are in AVI(.avi), MPG, XVID(.avi), DIVX(.avi), and WMV.
I have those 5 videos type availabel, not sure which one to say though. lols
While the audios are in Mp3.
Well, that is the problem. I dont know how to add another audio track to the video which already have 1 audio track.
I dont mean to overlay those 2 audio files, instead I want to be able to switch or choose the one I want when I play it on my DVD/VCD player.

    How can I do that?

    Thanks.

  4. Use DVDFlick to make a DVD, you can add up to 99 audio tracks.

  5. Hi. Thanks for the help!^^
I have been able to add another audio track using DVDFlick.
However, the result is a video in .VOB format with 2 audio tracks in mp3. I want to burn it into a VCD. I install Nero and choose the burn VCD option, but the file format doesnt support .vob.
So, I try to convert the .vob file into MPEG-1.
But the result is a MPEG-1 with just 1 audio track.

And you didn't think to mention that in the beginning - that your goal was to make a VCD? VCD supports only one audio track while DVDs support up to 8 different tracks. Maybe you're thinking of SVCD, which can hold two audio tracks?

  7. ooww. Is that so?

Sorry for not mentioning that. I didnt know there was such a difference between DVD and VCD.
So, can I burn SVCD using NERO? Btw, what type format does SVCD support then?

    Thanks.

And btw, I have just discovered that using DVDFlick , I can burn .vob file into CD. However, the burned file will also be .vob.
So, it is a CD with DVD files inside.
I'm not sure what it is called.
Then, I play it on my computer, well, it turns out fine with video and 2 audio tracks.
However, when I play it on my CD/DVD Player, it played, but it is very laggy .
Is it because I forcely burn those .vob files into a CD? If that is why it happens, then I should go and buy a DVD then. lols

It's called a miniDVD or cDVD.
Most software players support it but few standalones do.

BTW: manomo is correct about 8 audio tracks, I must have been thinking about chapters.

I wouldn't know as I don't (and won't) use anything by Nero for encoding.

SVCDs use MPEG-2 video at 480x480/576 resolution and MP2 audio.
