Step by step as if I was a newbie. Spent way too many hours trying to get subs in .ass format ripped from MKVs to be converted to .srt subs that will display on my Curtis. This might be a well worn trail but I'm running out of patience and hair (I keep pulling it out). Any help greatly appreciated.

Still no word, eh? I'm still working on an all-in-one solution and haven't found one yet (other than to stop using MKVs and stick with AVIs)....

    So it goes....

  3. Subtitle Workshop: File -> Load Subtitle (.ass), File -> Save as (srt).

Doesn't see the srt file. Tried renaming files, not renaming files, giving the files the.srt extender, etc. Files show up in subtitles menu but no display on TV screen. Can it be a problem with the Lexar jumpdrive I'm using instead of burning to disc? 2am here now. Quitting for the night. Thanks for the help....
