Hello all,

I'm new to these conversion stuffs. I downloaded a video of .mp4 format. Unfortunately i had a 1000ms out of sync audio. Then i found that Avi-Mux can fix the out of sync audio. So i downloaded AVI-Mux_GUI-1.17.8 and i tried to load the file in it but i found that .mp4 is not supported.

Then i found that AviDeMux can convert the video to .avi. So i loaded avidemux_2.5.2_full_win32 and tried to load the file. I got the following warning.

---------------------------
Confirmation
---------------------------
H.264 detected - If the file is using B-frames as reference it can lead to a crash or stuttering.
Avidemux can use another mode which is safe but YOU WILL LOSE FRAME ACCURACY.
Do you want to use that mode?

When i proceed with it i got a .avi file but it was unplayable (tried Media Player Classic (KM Codec lite), VLC Player and KM Player).

Then i found that x264 library can be added with AVIDeMux by reading the article here - http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/index.php?title=H264.

But i dono how to proceed?

How can i get the audio fixed for my video without losing the quality and increasing the size (700 MB) ?

Thank you all.

Regards

You can try fix the audio sync directly in avidemux. Under Audio -> Shift set it to 1000ms. Under Video and Audio choose copy. Save as a new mp4.

Okie i ignored it (gave NO) and i gave 1000 ms in the audio shift. But its not working. As the video progresses the audio is going out of sync more and more.

But in VLC player i used Ctrl + K to shift the audio to +1000ms and i watched the whole video fine. What could be the problem with AVIDeMux?

Thank you.
