I have been burning avi files, in folders, to DVD for 11 months. Hitting the play button on my Toshiba SD-185EKB DVD player would open the folders and list the avis ready to play. Suddenly the play button no longer opens the folders. I can burn the files, without folders, and there's no problem, but I cannot access all my previous stuff.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

Are you burning the files to DVD-RW? RW discs do tend to degrade, over multiple uses.

Can you access the files without any problems on your computer?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

  4. Did you update the firmware recently? Sometimes manufacturers remove functions.
Do folders still work on a CD-R?
