  1. I bought a blu-ray player 2 months ago and I conected the sound to my amp and loudspeakers.
I bought after couple of dvd movies but when I play them the sound is really low, I have to turn my loudspeakers almost max. The sound effects are quite ok in terms of volume but the voices are really bad...I connected the blu-ray with the amp via optical cable so it should be good sound....

    Any idea, please!

Shouldn't be a factor but your bluray player MIGHT have its own volume control. It may need to be turned up. Doubtful but possible. Check for an audio setting in the bluray player menu (not while playing a movie but its system menu when no disc is in the drive).

Also does the same thing happen with bluray movies? If it does it could possibly be that your speakers are going bad. Or check for loose cables. Maybe something isn't firmly connected. Check your wiring to and from your speakers. Also you could try another fiber optic cable just to be sure.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

The thing is that when I use the speakers for watching a video from PC then the sound is very good, so I think that the speakers are going bad.

Are you connecting the speakers directly to the pc? What kind of speakers are they? Are they a package set designed for a computer? If so they wouldn't necessarily be strong enough for a home theater application. They should be ok for pc use and some gaming. But if they are from say Creative Labs or Logitech for a computer they probably lack the full punch for a regular home theater.
