i just saw this video on tosh.o (love that show) and evidently it's gone viral, because of age restrictions youtube requires you to either sign in or sign up to see it but i found a site that is hosting it where you can download the clip.

basically it's a fight between this 67 year old white guy (a vietnam vet) and a rather young looking 50 year old black guy, now a discussion of the numerous issues with regards to the racial divide in this country would invariably lead to a violation of this forums rules, but what can't be disputed is that it beautifully shows that you shouldn't take a swing at someone if you don't know how to fight, you might get f*cked up.

the truly funny thing is that the girl that video taped the whole confrontation actually has the balls to tell the "victim" that he should press charges because she got the whole thing on film.

both the combatants have since been tracked down and interviewed by local radio and news reporters (would love to know how they tracked them down) and they each put their own spin on what occurred, needless to say the only true impartial judge is the video (with audio).

to the mods: if this video violates the rules of this forum, then what i meant to ask how i could enhance this video

When i was around 20 this little punk around 18 came at me talking a bunch of crap and acting like he was some bad @$$ and he got about 2 feet from me dancing around like he was bad, and i threw an uppercut into his chin, STOPPED about 2 inches from his chin, and he closed his eyes and tilted his head back
I stood there and said to him, boy, you better go home before you get hurt bad!!

He left and i never saw him again!! LOL!!

One thing i learned growing up is you never mess with a COMBAT VET from the old days!!!!
They will crush you!!!

They have lived things you have only ever seen in the movies!!

I am no bully or fighter but, my dad ran away from home when he was 14 with a friend, joined the military and was fighting in WWII killing people before people now a days can legally drive a car!!
He was tough when need be but he was the nicest, calmest & gentlest person you could ever know.
He had the patience of a saint, but if you were dumb enough to throw a punch at him.... it was OVAH!!!

I am the youngest of 4 boys and my dad always taught me growing up, you never start a fight and you never bully someone, if a woman beats the shit out of you, you never touch her, you walk away, but you never let someone push you around and if they start it you finish it!!

reminds me of when i was about 25 or so, i used to power lift and at the time i was also training 4 days a week in eskrima kali arnis silat, a hybrid of several indochinese/indonesian/filipino martial arts, as well as studying ground fighting before brazilian jiu jitsu. anyway, i'm standing on a street corner, minding my own business, when this kid i had never seen before, he must have weighed 150 soaking wet, looked like he was maybe a smallish 17 year old, comes up to me and says "hi" and at of the blue tells me that he just got his black belt in tae kwon do. i tell him "congratulations" and he comes back with "what, you don't believe me?".

i say to him, "i just said congratulations, i'm happy for you" and he's like "oh, you want to try me out" and before i can say anything he takes a swing at me. about 10 seconds later i have him face down on the ground in a rear naked choke with his face pressed hard against the concrete.

i don't want to kill the kid so i let him up and his face is all bruised up, he has a fat lip and he takes off. a day or two later he sees me again and he starts walking towards me screaming "you remember me motherf*cker, i owe you one", and this time as soon as he gets close to me i just jab him as fast as i can and he goes down like a sack of potatoes. when he gets up his eye has started swelling up and getting discolored.

a few more days pass and he's with a group of kids, all younger than him, when he sees me and they all approach me. he says he wants to apologize to me offer me his hand to shake. now i'm not stupid, i know what's coming, but i accept the gesture and go to shake his hand. as soon as i do, he sucker punches me but only lands a glancing blow because i pulled my head back before he could really start his swing. now mind you i'm still holding his hand from the hand shake, i pull him in and with my other hand i clock him right in the face and he goes down and out like a light.

his "friends", instead of helping him up, just stand there like "ow, damn" and start laughing at him. when he gets up he's a bloody mess and takes off.

i never saw that kid again, i don't know what his problem was, why he would pick a fight with someone that was obviously much bigger than him but there's no way that kid ever studied martial arts, for one thing he had the hands of a girl and for another he hit like one.

even though i don't condone street fighting, i do realize that there are times in a man's life when you don't have a choice, you have to "show hands", but for God's sake, if you're going to fight, even if you can't win, at least do yourself proud, have a good showing, let the other guy know he was in a fight, don't be such a wimp that you take a swing at a seated old man and end up getting your ass kicked, asking for an ambulance, bleeding all over the place.
