  1. Hi, first post here, hope i'm not disturbing

I'm a beginner video editor and compositor just learning bits here and there, and just bumped upon the above plugins for after effects and premiere pro, which work nice, but not on my machine, i've seen some examples of them at work on youtube and decided to use them for my tests and future projects, but they need certain hardware that i can't afford right now, so i tried to look for image enhancers and filters with similar functions on the web, nothing worthwhile came up, now i'm not familiar with any of the "well known must have" tools so i don't know what to search for, so finally i came here for advice... any takers?

Depends on the editing program you're using. Gradation curves is one place to start

  3. thanks man, seems like it's just curves controls and gradients which i can control from after effects and premiere that i'm currently using, thing is.... i'm lousy at creating those filters manually due to lack of experience, so thought i would use a generator like magic bullet only for it's super nice presets...

if there is any place i can maybe find presets for after effects or premiere i think i'll be happy enough

btw, can you also maybe suggest a low budget video card i can upgrade to in the meantime, don't rush with that

[edit] i will search for the presets myself, as to not be so lazy, but any further references on that will be awesome [/edit]
