I need to replace a DVD burner that is on it's last legs.
I found an LG burner with SecurDisc Technology. After some research, I don't think I need/want this feature.
Is it possible to toggle the feature on/off or completely disable it?
I really would appreciate feedback-both pro and cons.
TIA
Elaine

SecurDisc is simply software. All you need to do is NOT use or install it.
My newest LG (H58N) has the SecurDisc logo on it(I never noticed it until
just now), I've had this drive for quite a while now and never have seen any mention
on SecurDisc anywhere on my computer. -
If anyone is interested in what SecurDisc is: http://www.securdisc.net/enu/what-is-securdisc.html
