Anyone have experience with MKVextractGUI 1.6.4? I want to demux a Matroska video *.mkv to convert and remix it; sound and subtitles came out okay, but the video stream *.h264 is jerky. Any idea how to avoid that?

Or can you suggest a better demuxer for Matroska videos?

    Try demux with tsmuxer.

And if it wont work then give more info like
Are you just playing the h264? or playing it after you remuxed it to? to what then? mkv?
Are you using mkvextractgui with latest mkvtoolnix?

  3. most media players , source filters and splitters cannot handle raw avc streams. Put it in a container

If you are converting it, leave video in the mkv container for the conversion (no reason to demux, which can remove delays and cause sync errors)

    Yes.

Just playing the pure *.h264 video stream as extracted, not remuxed. djcv

And do you use the "raki" in addition.
It will not be played in a "jerky" way, anymore!
    Tell him, please...
