  1. Hey ,
Currently trying to get video clips for retail company together and having trouble with formatting. I've tried all of these different video converters for mac and have not had much success. I'm looking to end up with a video that fits into a 450x250 in AVCHD without distorting it.I also need it to be in mp4 w/o the black bars on top and btm. Lastly it needs to stay around 1.5 mgs. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

what size and format are the original videos? 450x250 is not divisible by 8, it may not be possible without black bars.

    Why 450x250? That isn't 16x9 and isn't a normal size.
Why AVCHD? A Blu-Ray player won't play 450x250. What is the player?

Why a Mac? A Windows PC has many more utilities available for deinterlace, resize and encoding.

But you said AVCHD. Why mp4?

So this is for a web page?
