    Hi,

I am looking to get a camcorder to use for reviewing products on my website. Budget is small: Ideally $150 or less. For this reason I'm looking at the flip UltraHD, although it doesn't seem to do well in low light and has no image stabilization at all.

Are there any other alternatives or should I just go with the flip?

    Thanks!

Consumer cameras never do well with low light.

    Tripod mount yourself.

DV cameras are under $150, but for simple web videos, it may be too much work.

  4. For doing product reviews, Flip UltraHD would be great - it has enough zoom to frame what you need and ease of uploading.

Here are three others with similar form and function that you may want to check out.

    Kodak Zi8
    Creative Vado HD
    Samsung HMX-U10

Honestly, any of these flips would work: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2F...reative=390957
    Flip tripod: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VJRUKS?ie=UTF8&tag=thdifa-20&linkCode=as2&camp=17...SIN=B000VJRUKS

Since quality is never going to need to be archival, a Flip works fine.
It's one of the few times I'd suggest or okay one of these.
