    Have some MKV files i would like to convert to ipod and i would normally use ffmprgx to do so but the files are "unrecognized" and fail to convert to ANY format... I am currently re-encoding them with mpegstreamclip but it is VERY SLOW and i would rather use ffmpegx... Why do i always seem to have problems with MKV and ffmpegx... Videolan plays them just fine...

    Major... When do you anticipate releasing a new version it has been quite awhile now... ??

    ffmpegx hasn't been updated for a LOOOONG time. So you need something else, try Handbrake.
