    I'm trying to use Super to convert a recording from my HF10 to upload to YouTube. It's a MTS (AVCHD) file and no matter what settings I use, Super gives me the generic "direct show blah blah blah" error. If I try older versions of Super, for some reason it won't launch.

    Super settings:
    Output container: MP4
    Output codec: H.264/AVC
    Output audiot: AAC LC
    Video: 1280x720 @ 29.97 fps (4032k bit-rate)
    Audio: 2ch @ 44.1khz (128k bit-rate)
    H.264 profile: High L4.0

    Specs
    E6550 @ 2.3GHz
    4GB Ram
    Vista x32 SP2
    Super v2010.build37

    Any help would be appreciated

    You can use other programs eg. ripbot264, xvid4psp, megui, handbrake ....
