Hope anybody has an answer to my problem. My standalone player (Thomson DTH-4200) works fine with (s)vcd's. But x(s)vcd's don't work really. I burned the x(s)vcd test sample from the x(s)vcd section on the left panel but the video and audio is bucking all the time. My self-burned x(s)vcd's have many problems (artifacts and video errors) but the sound plays correctly. Regarding to the DVD-Players compatibility list my player should work with x(s)vcd's. Can anybody help me (special bitrate etc.)? Thank's.
