Well i did a quick search on this topic but the only info i could find was from back in 2007.

So i have my desktop with a normal lcd monitor and my 50" HDTV which i use as a monitor also now i have a seperate keyboard that sits by my couch and im currently nursing a knee injury so it would be ALOT easyer for me if i could switch from the 15" to the 50" with just a hotkey? Im currently running an Nvidia 9500.
