    Hi there, guys!

    I would appreciate suggestions on freeware software I can use to split .AVis, .MPGs and the like.

    I play my stuff with Videolan and it used to be able to split but now the function has disappeared.

    I use mpg2cut2 for mpg and virtualdub or avidemux for avi files.

    At least with avi's you can use virtualdub, you set the start and stop points, make sure video it set to direct stream copy and then under file save the segment.
