    I have a 1080p MKV containing a H.264 video and DTS 5.1 audio.
    Could someone please tell me the best method to convert this to a 720p MKV with AC3 audio (so I can play on my PS3)? I have tried playing with FFMPEG, but the audio slowly goes out of sync towards the end of the film. I have also tried the -async tag, but it doesn't seem to work for more than audio 2 channels.
    I have tried using eac3to and re-muxing, but again there's audio lag.

    Try popcorn mkv audio converter to convert to ac3 audio. Reconvert to 720p with uncropmkv.
