    Hi All, I would like a program that. display two cameras at once both with their own stop start saving to their own file destination which loop after X amount of hours. Would like another record option on each which records to a seperate file non looping. Would like to display time/date permantly. Would like another option on each for text overlay. not just one line but a bunch of info i could display at the start of recording then switch of. Does anyone know of software likes this?? would it take someone long to create it???

    you might check with security firms for surveillance camera software as that sounds like what you're after.

    http://www.yawcam.com/ might be able to do what you want. Haven't tried it, but it is free and has some of the features you seek. There's also a forum for it.
