I just discovered VOB2MPG, and find it most useful. Bought the Pro version right away to get hold of the command line functionality. I managed to build a DOS BATch file something like this:

    start "Myfile" "C:\Program Files\VOB2MPG\vob2mpg.exe" /v="U:\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO" /o="I:\MPG_fra_VOB\01.MPG" /MainTitle

This works great, and creates a Mpeg-file with the name "01.MPG". But when I add the /sc option to have the resulting file split into chapters, it seems like the "01" name is replaced by the program with "Title_01.. + the chapter numbers .
I would very much like the ID I provide, to become the name of the file, just the way it does without the /sc option. Any ideas anybody?

Well as you have used the /sc option (seperate chapters), each file has to be unique. Hence the Title_xx_ch_xx naming convention. Can you indicate what you are expecting and i will add it in the next build if possible.

Thanks for your reply, ChrissyBoy. What I expect is that the file name I provide with the /o parameter is used as a prefix for naming the chapters, e.g "01_ch_01.mpg", 01_ch_02.mpg", etc. The reason I want this, is that when I read up to 5 DVD's concurrently (yes, running 5 instances of VOB2MPG, starting all of them from a batch file), the resulting files will overwrite each other when i use the /cp parameter. That's why I provide unique /o name for each DVD i read. With the /sc option I loose the filename .. Another issue I ran into is that the resulting file name sometimes ends up as something like "...raw.mpg" I suspect that this is a temporary name which should have been renamed in the end of the process. Any ideas?
