Wants me to install binaries every time I launch!

I'm having this really annoying problem of ffmpegX 0.0.9y wanting me to install the mencoder and mplayer components and user password *every* single time I launch the app.

Any ideas how to fix this?

[Case]

When the installer window comes up after a launch, it means that (a) it cannot find the binaries, or (b) the binaries are not in good order. Only the binaries from the official download are considered valid, as some file characteristics are checked at launch time.
Remember to unzip ffmpegXbinaries20060307.zip and use the Locate buttons to point the installer to the extracted mplayer and mencoder binaries, which should be in your Download folder or on your Desktop. Don't move them manually to the Library or the Applications folder. Let the installer copy these binaries to their final special location, where ffmpegX can use them.
