Have a Canon HF100 that records AVCHD HD video to SDHC card in MTS format.
No problem viewing on computer or burning a HD DVD for playback on Blu Ray player.
What are the best and easiest hardware devices to play back the native MTS files? I saw the WD TV appears to work with mixed reviews. Anyone tried the Segate FreeAgent Theater+ ??
I was hoping a BluRay player would come out that would play MTS files "simply" burned to a DVD data disk (Just burn the raw files).
I assume some of the new DVD and Blu Ray players that have a "USB" or "SD" cardslot don't recognize the MTS files?
I think it would be best to have a "media box" that would play MTS files as well as all other types of media including archived DVD's? The Segate device looks promiseing?
Thanks
