Well the sync problem is in the divx itself actually, but when i try to open it in virtualdub i get this error message:
"Virtualdub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better results. This may introduce up to 161750ms of audio skew. if this is unacceptable decompress the *entire* audiostream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder"
How would it help me, if i recompressed with a CBR encoder?, and how do i make this DIVX file sync´ed again?
The thing is that i want to convert the divx to svcd. i have experienced audio delays before when doing this, but i have always been able to demux the AVI and then remux it and delay the audiofile a bit so it would be in sync. This however doesnt seem to work for this, it keeps getting out of sync.
The movie is "Jay and silent bob strikes back" by DOMiNiON.
For some reason, the divx is out of sync, it must have happened somehow after i downloaded it, cus i know DOMiNiON normally release good quality. Could this by any chance have anything to do with them maybe using the OGG audio codec instead`?
Well any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
