    How Do I break the lines automatically on the timing list.... from a excel document to a txt or a srt file?
    Or... Which program can I use to import xls. files to break the lines to fit better in the frame and time...
    I have 6 different languages, each one in a diferent excel sheet, all the lines and time are matching... if I do change the lines in one document, how Can I automatically change in the other languages???
    Thanks,,,

    I would suggest aggregating all your subtitles into one worksheet; i.e. language 1 in column A, language 2 in column B etc. then place the timings in the next available column. Changing the timing will then affect all languages.

    To output subs in srt format is not totally straightforward, but I had a little play and came up with this workaround:
    - copy and paste your worksheet into a Word document
    - cut out all languages except the one you want
    - insert a blank column to the right of the timings
    - select the entire table
    - choose Table->Convert->Table to Text...
    - separate cells with paragraph marks
    - now save your document as a plain text file and rename it to .srt

    P.S. if this is something that you do a lot then you should look into writing a vba script to do the export for you, or consider using Access (or other database) with a custom export script.
