Hi, I did a clean install of Win 7 on my Vaio AR61M (formerly Vista) and I cant get the Hot Keys/shortcut/Fn (audio, mute, eject, vol, brightness etc.) keys to work.
The drivers to my laptop are here http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/preinstalled/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VGN-AR61M and i've installed a few that I thought would get everything working but still cannot get some things to work.
Anybody have a Vaio or know why?
Ive installed the following:
Original Function Settings
Setting Utility Series
Graphics NVIDIA
Camera Ricoh
AppMon
VAIO Control Center
VAIO Event Service

if you look in the list of supported win7 upgradable products yours is not listed. they don't have nor plan on making win7 drivers for it.

strange that because vista and win 7 are basicaly the same win 7 has just been tweeked up and had alot of the crap in vista removed
if you have the original disc with drivers/ application for the hot keys try installing them in win xp sp3 mode
this usually works on 32 bit but not on 64 bitLast edited by obewon; 19th Feb 2010 at 11:43.
