  1. Hi I know I asked this in another post but this is a different thing now.

I have a .avi movie in 2 half's and 2 x .srt files. as cd1.avi and cd2.avi I used ConvertXtoDVD added both 2 avi movies plus added both the subtitle files as 1st one cd1.srt to first half called cd1.avi and same with cd2.avi I added cd2.srt
I then I burned both the folders VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS to a DVD but when I play on the home DVD player. the 1st half plays ok to near the end, but instead of going over to the next half it just go back to the beginning I have tried this many times but now stuck what to do

please hope someone can suggest what's wrong

You are adding the two titles as separate titles. if you have CXD3 or 4, add the first title, then right-click on the titleset and select "Merge extra files" (or similar - can't remember the wording). The two (or more) parts will be authored as a single title, instead of two titles.

no there is only 2 halfs of the movies like I said so do you mean add cd1.avi & cd2.avi including there subtitles which are included in the same folder then say merge more files to this title set so this will make 1 movie which is even better

Add the first video - CD1.avi. Right-click on the titleset and select Merge more files to titleset, then select CD2.avi
