Hello, I capture alot of Gameplay, mostly BF:BC2 atm(but also other games in the future).
I used to capture with fraps but it just eats to much FPS in BF:BC2 for example.
I found this http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ .
Would this be possible: "Graphic Card --HDMI Cable---> Intensity Pro --HDMI Cable---> Monitor.
I think this would be possible caus the intensity pro has a HDMI in and output.
My System
i7 860 @ 2.8GHz
MSI P55-CD65
Corsair 2x2GB DDRIII
MSI 5850
Asus Xonar DS
1x Samsung F3 1TB
1x WDS 320GB
1x Samsung 200GB
Oh yea, also, how much of strain would capturing for example BF:BC2(1920x1080, high settings prefered) be on my system, I've seen this picture about the required harddrive speed
The 100-120MB/sec isnt to much of a problem with a 2x F3 in raid 0.
But what about the CPU, memory and graphic's card?
When playing BF:BC2 my memory/CPU gets used for ~50%.

Your saying you want to play the game and record on the same computer? Ain't gonna happen.

If your graphics card has component video out you might be able to use a Hauppauge HD PVR to capture while you play. Just disable the capture programs video output. Then all your doing is saving a low bitrate USB video stream to a file while playing.
