  1. Hello,

I installed the latest demo version of this software. It works fine on files I convert from dvr-ms to mpg. If I try to add a dvr-ms file, I receive the error "ffmpeg.exe has stopped working". I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it in the C drive but not in program files as this is mentioned in other posts with the same results. I read another post where chrissyboy provides instructions to be ran at a command prompt. Here are the results:

According to the release notes, this is supposed to work with dvr-ms files.

    Thanks for your help!

  2. An update. I purchased the software even if I had to do the extra step of converting the recorded TV DVR-MS to MPG. Not really that big of a deal as I was already using DVRMS Toolbox to remove the commercials anyway. So I purchased the software and installed it. As a test I selected a dvr-ms file and there was no error. But then I noticed there was no audio (see other post) in the preview so thought I had a different issue. I need to confirm this with a true test but I believe the error went away using the non-demo version of the software.
