So I have a watermark I created using keyframes in one video file, but can't figure out how to add it to another. Vegas won't let me open more than one document at a time, so I have no idea how to import that watermark (with key frames) into another file--this goes for edited sound effects as well (and anything in the timeline really).
Is there a way to do so? Or some way to open more than one video project at a time?

Need more info on how you made your "watermark" project

Is the "watermark" transparent, with alpha channel? If so, export it with a format that has alpha channel (e.g. quicktime animation, or huffyuv) and overlay it onto your new project

For sound you can export audio only and reimport into your new project

Well, the watermark was created with a simple text overlay--Vegas automatically handled the transparencies itself.

I guess I was just wondering if it's possible to copy and paste anything between projects, since exporting everything seems a bit annoying, but I guess I'll have to do that. I swear I was able to copy and paste between Vegas with Vegas 4 though (I'm using 9 now).

Remove everything but the overlay - no other videos clips or anything else. Save this as a project called watermark.

Open the project you want to add the watermark to. You should be able to load the watermark project as if it were a video clip, and add to the timeline above the existing video.Read my blog here.
