VideoReDo-Autoprocessor (VAP)

VAP is a new free utility program that automates video processing with VideoReDo (VRD), including the new pre-release version that edits and transcodes to MPEG4. VAP monitors a hot folder for new videos of any type that VRD can open and runs processes on them as configured. Processes include Quick Stream Fix (QSF), Ad Detection and cutting, and transcoding. All configuration is done in the VAP GUI.

A typical (automated) process flow might be:
1. Perform QSF on input.
2. Run Ad Detection using either VRD AdDetective or ComSkip to define project file with cuts.
3. Suspend processing of that input waiting for operator to review and adjust the cuts in GUI VRD. Processing of other inputs continues.
4. Operator halts VAP processing and loads project files in GUI VRD to adjust cuts, using convenienat button provided in VAP GUI. Adjusted project file is saved from VRD GUI.
5. VAP, upon resuming processing, detects the revised project file and transcodes to the output file using operator-adjusted commercial cuts.

Process flows that don't require operator review and adjustment of the commercial cuts are completely automatic.

Now has a windows installer and runs on Win7 without requiring elevation to "run as administrator".

This thing is awesome. I use it to throw HD TiVo recordings into iTunes for AppleTV without commercials - works GREAT.

Question - each time a new recording goes into the queue, the "Do post-process" checkbox always checks itself by default... how can I prevent this because when that's checked, the process from TiVo > iTunes stops and doesn't work when that's checked.

Back in the day I worked on VAP with you. In fact, I think you might even have made it for me originally. Any chance you still have the file?
