  1. Hi

I can't find a tutorial that tells you how to convert DivX To X(S)VCD! The "how to convert DivX to SVCD" doesn't tell you how to make it a X(S)VCD. Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advanced

First do some search about xsvcd and xvcd. And then you could download some xvcd or xsvcds tmpgenc templates as they includes some guides.

  4. Actually, this one is pretty darn easy. Install TMPeg and just
    use the project wizard.

    1. Select the type of project (NTSC Film) usuallyfor me, <Next>
    2. Select the input file (your divx file), <Next>
    3. Select the source range (I usually put divx movies on 2 SVCDs) <Next>
    4. Adjust the bitrate so that it fits under 740 MEG. I've had DVD drives
which have problems with SVCDs longer than this
    5. Pick your output filename and you're off.

After that, just follow the VCDEasy authoring instructions in the other
    guides and should be OK.

  5. Ugh. This cold is just killin me. I missed the X part.

I do have a question for you, though. Why do you want
x(s)vcds? Do you have a player which plays those and not divx?
