So where is the second half of Stargate Universe?

I really never got into the series. I thought they would have started the second half by now.

    Did they ax it already?

Hiatus until April, as is the norm for that network. SciFi (Syfy) goes for the summer seasons.

Thanks lordsmurf. I'll look out for it if I remember it later.

S2 is already ordered for 20 eps: http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/12/syfy-renews-stargate-universe-sanctuary-season-second-.html

Syfy is expanding its commitments to "Stargate Universe" and "Sanctuary," granting both shows another season.

The "Universe" just aired its freshman midseason finale. The show's hiatus will extend until April, and then season two will debut in the fall, along with a third season of "Sanctuary."

Both Friday night shows have commenced production on their next seasons in Vancouver and have received 20-episode orders.
I'm actually more interested in Caprica. (I never saw BSG, either -- still don't know if I care to.)

That's what I was thinking. In space for a half season, and met their first alien!
(Not counting that dust tornado thing, or the killer leeches.)

    I didn't catch it.

I guess I'm giving up on them.

Though I finally finished season 2 of Stargate Atlantis on DVD the other day. I own 1,2 and 5 on dvd. I watched the series finale and part of season 5. I finished 1 and 2 in order. I may someday buy 3 and 4 but have no immediate plans to do so.

However what I have done is bought some 3 and 4 episodes on my playstation 3 for 2.00 a show on the playstation network.

I bought some of the beginning of season 4 when Carter comes on. I also did the end of season 4 before season 5 started.

I also bought that "the game" show where Shepard and Mckay were playing what they thought was a strategy game was in fact an ancient evolution system designed to guide real colonies. That was a fun show and was actually a real unique story line that wasn't really done before in Star Trek (from what I can remember - though I must admit to not seeing all of the Enterprise shows so something might have been done there, but not in the TOS, TNG, DS9 or VOY with a direct comparison so props to the Atlantis team for having a truly unique scifi story)
