Can anybody get to pana3ccduser.com? Last time I was there (4 days to a week ago) all was fine, but for the past 2 days all I get is the firefox message "Server not found Firefox can't find the server at www.pana3ccduser.com" message. Has it gone away??

Nope, it seems dead. The domain name pana3ccduser.com doesn't point to any IP. But even the last known ip seems dead , http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-ip/?hostname=72.3.248.190

Yeah, I was wondering if it might be a DNS problem, and if so, how many people it might be affecting. Guess I'll have to wait and see if it comes back to life. Thanks Baldrick.

UPDATE: Just saw a message from one of the P3U mods over at camcorderuser.net that P3U is gone. He says that it may come back for a short time to say "good-bye", but that it's basically shutdown. Bummer.

    That's always crappy.
I'd take the site over, if the owner has lost interest or doesn't want to pay for upkeep anymore.

When a book goes out of print, copies still survive. When a site goes away, everything is lost.
That's one reason I'm still big on paper, and poo-poo digital-only publications.

The pana3ccduser.com URL is back up (for the moment) directing people to visit CamcorderUser.Net. A number of the pana3ccduser.com members (including me) have joined there.

This thread on that forum talks to the fate of pana3ccduser.com:

    See you there.

bummer, the name doesn't expire for a year and a half, no use trying to get it to keep it alive.
