Make subtitles in subtitle workshop or download from the net. Use an all-in-one converter like DVD Flick, load video and subtitle file and convert.

If you want more detailed help you MUST provide more information what you want.

That has nothing to do with adding subtitles to a DVD, which is what you originally asked about. Why did you not ask about adding subtitles to YouTube video in your first post?

  7. got these instructions from Youtube:
    1. Mouse over the 'Account' link in the upper right corner of every page.
    2. Click 'My Videos'. You will then be directed to a page showing your uploaded videos.
    3. Find the video to which you'd like to add captions/subtitles, then click the 'Captions' button.
    4. Click the "Add New Captions or Transcript" button.
    5. Click the 'Browse' button and find the caption/subtitle or transcript file to upload. If you are uploading a transcript (no timecodes), select "Transcript file", otherwise, select "Caption file"
    6. Select the appropriate language. If you wish, you can also enter a track name.
    7. Click the 'Upload File' button.
Point 3 says to find a video. I have a dvd which contains 12 songs. I want to upload one of them, what have I to do? sorry not an expert. thx

  8. First you upload the video. When it's all uploaded and processed and you can play it, then follow the instructions about adding the SRT subtitles to it.

If you're asking how to get the video off of the DVD and reencoded for upload to YouTube, then start reading. This site has a ton of conversion guides. You'll do better and learn more by searching out the answers yourself than by relying on others to hold your hand. Also, you're more likely to get help when you can show you've done some of the work yourself. No one likes to help out a lazy bum.

Hint: try AutoGK after getting the video onto the hard drive (using DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode set to decrypt the chapter with the video).
