    I posted a comment re this program and Windows 7 64 bit - I would like to delete the comment as I found a solution 10 minutes after posting. Basically on Windows 7 Microsoft has it's own codecs and in the case of STW 2.51 MPEG2 files wouldn't display. AVI's are ok.
    The solution is a tool called Win7DSFilterTweaker_1.8.exe - just scroll down to MPEG2 and untick Microsoft as the preferred codec. Works fine.
