Have a divx and want to make a vcd using Tmpge. Source file is 528 x 336, 29.97 fps. When I play in Windows media player, this looks like a widescreen (I think). Using the ntsc template, will Tmpge automtically resize to full screen on my TV? Or do I need to resize with custom setting (using FitCd to calculate resize needed). I do not want letterbox. Thank you for any options..............

Yes, you have to calculate with FitCD because you do not want letterbox.
Crop to 448(428)x336 and resize to 352(336)x240.

Thanks for the reply Truman.
I guess I dont get totally how to use FitCD (major newbie). How did you figure what to crop to and what do the numbers in parenthesys mean? When I load the file, I dont get numbers close to that in the crop area or resize area. I know this may be a pain in the A$$ but could you explain how to use the mpeg resizing ? Does a resolution of 528 x 336 equate to widescreen?
Im looking to understand so when I get different resolutions I can resize them to 352 x 240, NTSC VCD and fill the TV screen correctly without changing the aspect ratio.
Thanks again.
