I inherited an Ariston iView USB capture box. It seems that primarily it was aimed at Mac users, but also had drivers for Windows 9x.
The box says it has 'hardware compression' Still the drivers install seem to be only capture (no video hardware codec). It seems to work, except that it won't let me select custom capture sizes (using latest virtualdub).
If I want to capture from VHS with the goal of being VCD, should I capture at 640x480 and then resize to 352x240 ? Otherwise, I can only capture at 320x240...
TIA.
