    Hello People,

    I’m looking for a DVD player with the following features and capabilities and am confused with the conflicting reviews on both the Philipss and Pioneers;


    A) DVD/CD PC formats; WMV, WMA, DIVX, JPEG, MP3...
    B) HDMI Up scaling, connection and handling
    C) USB/HDD; accept/plays PC formats (WMV, WMA, DIVX, JPEG, MP3) directly from an External Hard Drive via USB connnection.
    D) Region (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and System (PAL, NTSC) FREE

    Your input would be truly appreciated.

    Oppo. Unfortunately, they only make Blu-ray players now so you have to pay a lot more.

    pioneer 420 with the hack, if it sells where you are
    PAL/NTSC problem solver.
    USED TO BE A UK Equipment owner., NOW FINISHED WITH VHS CONVERSIONS-THANKS
