What i am using CCE 2.5 SP and Virtual Dub.
I am basically following the steps provided at VCDHELP. When i get to step 8 where i have to add the vdr file into that i just created from the virtual dub START FRAME SERVER into CCE, it just sits there. ITs running but nothing happens. I have tried to manuall add the vdr extention on the file, but same thing. I am using win XP pro with dual P3 1 gigs. I know its not the system or the resorces.
I have used TMPEG succesully many times with no problems.
Any ideas on whats going on with CCE 2.5 SP.
One more thing. THe samething happens if i use a trial version or the full version of CCE SP

I am having a similar problem. CCE won't read the avi file that virtualdub is frameserving.
You did not forget to switch the proxy-settings of virtualdub?
Meaning:
Turning proxy OFF before using VFAPIConv.exe
And Turning proxy ON after using VFAPIConv.exe
I did not forget and I have the same damn result.
I cannot get it to work. It works fine in Win98 though.
Anyone else who can help? I am a bit desperate.
