    What video codec are you using? For avi try divx/xvid if you want to keep a low file size with good quality.

    I'm using both dvix/xvid and my operating system Windows 7 64-bit

  5. what were your sequence settings , and export settings ?

    If you are just replacing audio, I would use something like vdub or avidemux (unless you have to do audio edits or line up tracks or other edits) , this way you can copy the video (no quality loss) by using direct stream copy. In premiere, it will do a colorspace conversion, and you have to re-encode (slower and quality loss)

  7. Your original was 768x576, square pixel , but you exported 720x480

    I suspect you used wrong sequence settings, like NTSC DV , and interlaced , then deinterlaced and resized upon export. This results in those aliased jaggy edges

    You need to use a custom progressive setting that matches your original in terms of dimensions, fps, progressive, PAR

    On export you're using uncompressed audio, that's 8x the size of the original; you might want to use compression for that as well

  9. start a new sequence , and enter the values that match your original (they are in the text file you uploaded)

    This screenshot is from CS4 , so it might look slightly different in CS3

    Then do your edits, and export using the same settings (frame size, PAR, fps etc....)

    Cheers

  11. If you already did your project, you should be able to transfer your old edits over to the new sequence to save time

    edit=>copy , edit=>paste into the new sequence

    Some things might need to be adjusted, like title sizes etc..., but the rough cuts and effects should be transferred over
