I it possible to add and extra folder and/or file to a BD authored disc and still have it played by a blu-ray player?
I used to do this with DVD-R video discs where I would add a folder called EXTRA and put extram info such as Cover scans, MP3 sound track, and mobile rip of the video, ect. If I was tight on space, I would zip the files and burn with the rest of the video.
Would like to do the same with BD-R
THX, JNT.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

For the love of God, use hub/core labels on your Recordable Discs!

I'm pretty sure it's possible. Anyone know an updated blu-ray video white paper specification?

It's possible with AVCHD:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD
I have added several folders to the root of an AVCHD authored disc and it works on my Panasonic BD35 and BD60.
This White Paper covers folders and directories:Last edited by MOVIEGEEK; 2nd Feb 2010 at 14:05.
