  1. I it possible to add and extra folder and/or file to a BD authored disc and still have it played by a blu-ray player?

    I used to do this with DVD-R video discs where I would add a folder called EXTRA and put extram info such as Cover scans, MP3 sound track, and mobile rip of the video, ect. If I was tight on space, I would zip the files and burn with the rest of the video.

    Would like to do the same with BD-R

    I'm pretty sure it's possible. Anyone know an updated blu-ray video white paper specification?

  3. It's possible with AVCHD:

    I have added several folders to the root of an AVCHD authored disc and it works on my Panasonic BD35 and BD60.
