    I just have a simple question .....

    Can I upgrade from vegas 5.0 and DVD arch 2.0 to Vegas Pro 9 as an UPGRADE ? Some sites say NO however , Sony site seems to say yes ? Anyone ?

    Why not put your serial number in and see if it OKs it ?

    Okay, not sure what you mean put my serial number in ..wouldn't I have to BUY it first ? And is it doesnt work ..I am hosed ? What am I missing and THANK you for fixing the subject line....

    The link you gave to the site has the qualifying serial number box you put your number into,thats the one guns1inger mentioned.Dont need to buy it to do that.

    Yep, your version 5 serial number. It will tell you if it qualifies for an upgrade
