My friend took a video of me (His wife took camera out of town with her). The video players that play it don't have sound. The only one that plays it with sound is Quicktime.
I tried to convert it in Videostudio 11 Plus, but it doesn't recognize it. VLC says it's "SMAR' file and there is no way to fix this."
Is there anyway to get this into a file that can have sound in most players? I want to post it on youtube.
Thank you for any help,
Chris.

A video?
Please give more information, open the video in mediainfo and change to view->text and copy and paste all information here.
And if it works in quicktime you can try quicktime pro or the free mpeg streamclip to convert it to another format and see it works better.
